Spider

When we left our resort in Ko Pangang we knew it would be an interesting journey to our next stop in Khao Sok. First of all it was the day after the half full moon party. We were tired as fuck. Anyway we got picked up by a driver at 11am, because our boat left at 12am. Here we encountered the first problem. We received some sort of extra ticket and we didn't know the direct meaning of this ticket. We asked what the ticket was for, but nobody could explain it for us. After five thai individuals, the sixth one told us we had to leave the boat at the next stop. So we did, here was a big touring bus waiting for us. Only a handful of people stepped on the bus. Appearantly the extra ticket was a bus ticket... After a bus trip of an hour we arrived at a weird street. The only shop there was a taxi company. A woman came to us and asked us where we wanted to go. We told her we wanted to go to Khao Sok. She gave us two options.
1) step inside her white chevy which would cost us 1000 baht (aka €23).
2) get in a mini van with 15 other people which would cost 350 baht. We chose the second option. She drove us to a little market, dropped us off and went away quickly. We didn't receive any ticket, so we thought she scammed us, but suddenly, after we waited for like 20 minutes on a stone chair, a mini van arrived and picked us, an english teacher and a bunch of other thai people up. The english teacher (Anais) told us to sit in the front, because there you can feel the airco better. Anais is a 21 year old man and teaches people english in the middle of nowhere. He told us some interesting stories and also told us that we paid too much for the taxi. He only paid 90 baht. I seriously hate thai people. Because this means that this bitch probably gained 500 baht from us. After like 2 hours of driving he stepped out in the middle of nowhere. He told us our destination was only 30 minutes away. Well after 30 minutes we arrived somewhere in khao sok. But still not at our destination. A bunch of taxi drivers came to us and asked us to which resort we wanted to go. We told them Khao Sok Island Resort. It cost us 50 baht each to get there. We arrived at the resort and appearantly it is normal that you have dinner, before being able to get to your room. After we ate we went to the room or should I call it the zoo. In the bathroom we found some cockroaches and when we wanted to lay down a fucking spider the size of my hand came out of my pillow! They gave us a new room because when the host wanted to kill the spider it suddenly dissapeared. In the other room we haven't found an animal, yet... They told us not to leave any stuff outside the room, because at dusk and dawn, monkeys will steal our stuff. We searched our room for creatures, but after like 30 minutes, we decided it was clear and we went to sleep.
By the way, the spider was the scariest part of the whole trip uptill now.
